Finally told me boss that i'm quiting. Ah that feels GOOD! But the boss had been very nice to me.. so i'm also a little bit sad.

So i shopped for new year's clothes at bugis street alrd.. 2nd time been there. It's very squeezy out there. And lots of cheap bermudas... $15. LOL!


Ya... on to the movie.



LAKEVIEW TERRACE




Plot: An LAPD officer will stop at nothing to force out the interracial couple who just moved in next door.

My view: It's a nice story, nice plot.. and intense acting from Samuel L Jackson as the strict and fearful police officer. The story's gripping, a little dark, and the casts are superb. Storyline's creative, i've never seen a show like this before. Still.. during the film, some scenes tend to get too boring. Not to forget, great acting from Patrick Wilson, who also starred in 'The Phantom Of The Opera' and "Little Children". But overall, it's a very good film. Recommended.

There's a reason why the film ' slumdog millionaire' won the golden globe for best picture of the year. The reason's simple. It's b-l-o-o-d-y brilliant.

Yeap.. that's right.

My view: The story's brilliant in the way that the film does not exaggerate, the flashbacks in the film are timed perfectly.. and the actors are superb especially the actor playing Jamal Malik. I just literally watched in awe as i finished the movie. The show is very touching too as it shows the how Jamal Malik overcame the tough conditions of the slums.

Working at Swensens made me realise how fortunate i am. I always thought that working is so much more fun and cooler than studying... but i was so wrong.

Working made my body ache.
Working made me feel exhausted.
Working made me feel like studying.

I now fully understood what my parents told me. They said studying is so much better than working... but i begged to differ last time. I've always thought that working was fun and it gives you cash. Damn i was naive..


So working at Swensens made me gain 5 things...

1st: It gives me cheques.
2nd: It made me value studying a lot more.
3rd: It made my arm and hand stronger
4th: It made me gained new cool friends.
5th: Hmm... on second thought... there is no fifth thing.



So yeah.. i gained four things. :)


Can't wait to quit.. i wanna get a job other than waitor job. In this holiday.. i wanna experience all kinds of jobs!

This show.. rocks!!

Plot: Lazy court-process clerk and stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city's most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him--and it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they're not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia: incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both.


I wanna say first.. that the plot of this show is just lame and kinda stupid. But i wanna point out that the actors were superb in this film. It made me literally laugh out loud! Especially James Franco.. Urghh! These two actors have superb chemistry!

Seth Rogen is just a great comedian, as seen in his other films like ' Superbad' etc.

On the right: James Franco
Very very versatile actor. He acted as a hero/villian in Spiderman, acted as a reluctant war soldier in Flyboys, and now a stupid joker in Pineapple Express. Note: He got himself a Gloden Globe nomination in this film.



These two are the stupid villians in this movie. Made me laugh out loud throughout the film. Even the fights in the film is hilarious!

Fuck it!

Sophia Lin Yunru told me she dreamt about me getting 18 for l1r4... that seriously freaked me out like f***!! LOL!


But i got more than i bargained for... so i'm happy with it :)


My points meant that i can go to every poly courses in singapore... it's relieveing to know that.


Pity i didn't get a1 for me emaths... which i screw it up.


For those who got bad results... Cheer up okay! It's definitely okay to go poly or ITE and be hardworking there... it's fine. I believe if one works hard... then they won't feel guilty even if they didn't get the results they hoped for.



Thanks for everyone who supported, encouraged, taught, been with me throuhgout 2008. It's cool to know that 2008 was a cool year for me, and it was also my comeback year! So... no more textbook, no more uniforms, no more hair check, additional laptop, and a new beggining.

In life, most of us end up in career paths that are different that what we dreamed for. Say for instance... look at the road sweeper on the road. I'm sure he or she must have dreamed of becoming famous and rich before, but at last that person ended up as a road sweeper. This example is a reminder to us that we shouldn't just dream about our future, but take action. After getting our results, be it bad or good, we must still put in hardwork when we are in poly or jc or ite.


Fate is in our hands.

Today was unexpected. Very unexpected.

Had soccer outing with the hua yi teachers today at 5.00 p.m. And i worked finish at 5.00 p.m. So yeah.. had to rush there and make it on time.

Final score. We fucking won! 9-1!

I came in at second half, and assisted 2 and had a goal myself. Was really satisfied with my own performance. But i was down on stamina, walked a lot throughout the match. Couldn't think of the man of the matche.. there were too many! Yuhong and Yicong were hat-trick heroes, Jian Sheng was brilliant, Wei Liang and Jeryl( i don't know how to pronounce his name) was totally rock solid, and Hong Wei was very commanding and outstanding.


Teachers played very well too.. but didn't succeed on getting their goals. They were great, super great! Cheers to them!


Right.. i'm still stunned by the result. Fucking couldn't believe it.

This is fucking random...

but i miss HONG KONG! VERY MUCH!

I miss my friends in hong kong, especially my hong kong buddy.. he's great!

How i wish i can now board the next flight to hong kong and hang around with my friends there..


Although the hong kong disneyland isn't great at all~ i still miss it, due to the memories there, the fireworks at night, the cute train to there, the boring rides in there. I miss it all.


I will go hong kong someday.. as i promised my friends there that i would definitely come back. One of them even told me ' I'll be waiting for you'.


I cried at the departure airport, as i couldn't hold back my tears in front of my buddy. Truth is, in the 1 month of the hong kong exchange programme, i and my friend have become great buddies, and leaving hong kong was very hard to do so.



Hope to go back hong kong with maybe Yi Fang and Wai Kit... that is if we have the money..

He is the perfect criminal. Funny thing, being an audience myself, i tend to side with Dexter, and symphatize with Dexter. This is the best thing about the show. It lets you support Dexter, a serial killer himself.

He does have that scary look.

This is Dexter's sister, Debra Morgan. Another detective. She almost caught Dexter.

Vince Masurgi. He is a excellent forensics specialists. Almost caught Dexter too.

Dexter's girlfriend. HOT!

This guy thought that he is Dexter's best friend! In fact, Dexter doesn't care much about him. Dexter is a monster without feelings.

This black guy in front, Detective James Doakes. He is the only one who actually suspected Dexter of being a serial killer. The woman at the back is LaGuerta, the lieutenant.

One Crazy killer.

This show is very addictive, and i gto stuck to it since the first episode. Damn! I don't know why, but i tend to like shows with vigilantes in it. Batman, Spiderman, i love them all. The lead actor is a good actor, who is capable of good acting, evident in the movie, The King And The Clown.
